I am a survivor of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi who took on the initiative to forgive and reconcile with the Genocidaires who looted our family property.
I am a member of the Unity and Reconciliation and Social welfare Committee. Every year we work with the National Women's Council to help women and children that survived the 1994 Genocide againt the Tutsi through advicacy and fundraising in our community.
We build one house every year for the genocide survivors in our area. Through all this, I have managed to live in harmony with my neighbors and community , we no longer live along ethnic lines.
