The Altus League

The Altus League

The Altus League has been made possible by the Kashif Siddiqi Foundation, which was founded by professional British South Asian football player Kashif Siddiqi.

The foundation was set up in 2011, with the support of the Professional Footballers Association and the FA, to get underrepresented youth into football whilst educating them and their families on the benefit of sport and health. Now, KSF is taking the next big step forward in this work: the Altus League.

The Altus League is a new, free nationwide football league for 16-18-year olds of all levels. Those involved in the Altus League will get top training from FA licensed coaches, develop their skills and be part of a team of budding champions. If they impress with their game they might even end up playing in the Altus League Cup final at St Georges Park. We’re kicking off in London and Bradford but will be setting up new teams across the country partnered with local football clubs.

The league’s aim is to help bring young people together from different walks of life, to instil a sense of team spirit and to promote role models that they can emulate in wider society.
