The NGO Play4Peace, Peace and Sport Award Winner, will celebrate April6 with a Forum

Every year for April 6, a massive “Brussels Play4Peace” day has gathered several hundreds of people in Brussels around family multiple sport activities. Following the health crisis that has affected us all, Play4Peace decided in 2021 to replace this great day with a Forum.

The Play4Peace Forum will be a moment of exchange and sharing, celebrating the #WhiteCard campaign. It aims to raise awareness among the sports family and decision-makers on the importance of sport to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Play4Peace will organize several workshops throughout the day, in parallel with six major plenary conferences. The event will close with an Awards Ceremony to thank and encourage grassroots actors and initiatives using sport as a vector for development, inclusion and peace. The Champion for Peace Benjamin Boukpeti will sit on the panel.

In 2017, the NGO Play4Peace won the Peace and Sport Awards April6 Initiative of the Year.
