The 2030 Digital Fasttrack Studios (DFS) brings together representatives from the United Nations agencies, permanent missions, academia, civil society and the private sector. The studios provide a policy engagement forum for stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital transformations and policies to fast track progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.
On the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, on April 6, the fourth 2030 Digital Fasttrack Studio will focus on the aspects of sports that have a positive influence on the healthy development of the individual. Sport is an important enabler of sustainable development as it promotes tolerance and respect and contributes to the empowerment of women and of young people, individuals and communities as well as to health, education and social inclusion objectives.
Around the theme “Sports, Technology and Innovation”, this panel will gather several speakers from the Sport and ITs worlds, under the moderation of UNESCO.
Marlene Harnois, Champion for Peace and Representative of the Champions for Peace club, will participate in the event.
