I am a kickboxer at the norwegian national team in the coach team for the kickboxing programme in the Zaatari refugee camp.
Kickboxing is an arena where I can express myself as a complete human being physically, mentally and spiritually.
Some of the most meaningful moments in kickboxing were when I have had the opportunity to help others. Whether it has been to be there for a friend in my team going through times, helping a teenager developing personal and kickboxing skills, or teaching self defense to women in the Syrian refugee camp, Zaatari, the small moments when I have been lucky to do something helpful for others has made a big impact on my life."
